Makes no difference if you're working or not, carer or not, if a person living in the house is 75 you get free TV licence, the TV licence has to be in the persons name who is 75, the just check the person claiming is 75 by their national insurance number.

This doesn't apply to me but I was concerned for family unpaid carers who live with and care for an elderly relative.
