artical in thursdays chill newspaper

I have been told that I can only claim carers allowance for caring for our daughter 24/7 because she resides with us by choice and wishes us to care for her
How is it possible that this lady can get paid for providing care to her son who resides with them by choice

It is a joy to know that you enjoy our paper Honey and actually read it. Thank you.
My answer to your question is , it depends on who you get to do your advocacy. It is no good attempting to do these things on your own, you really need someone who knows the ins and outs for your council.
