Whistling

Postby wendy » 05 May 2015, 09:51

How long is it since you heard someone going along the street or road, whistling?
Once upon a time, the postman used to whistle along with the milk man, etc.
Do you think it is dying out?

You don't often hear people whistling in the street now, they are more likely to be either listening to their ipods or chatting on the phone

My grandad used to whistle through his teeth. I liked it but it drove my mum mad! He especially did it in programmes he didn't like!
