Do you know the difference?

I was checking this for myself and wondered if you knew the difference between high blood pressure and hypertension?
It is interesting.

Hypertension is high blood pressure Wendy, hypotension is low blood pressure

I come across both of these when doing first responding.

It is interesting that blood pressure can tell you so much

the treatment for hypertension is different to the treatment for high blood pressure and yet you would think they would be the same.

Wendy, I can't understand what you mean, hypertension is just the medical word for high blood pressure, hyper coming for the Greek huper, meaning beyond or above . There is no difference apart from the medical terminology.
