Do you think the NHS should cut down on cancer drugs?

Postby wendy » 31 Jan 2015, 13:27

They appear to be stopping treatment for thousands of people and then giving more money to save 200 people who have cancer.
What do you think?

It will be devastating for the people who will no longer be able to be treated for their cancer on the NHS. It seems so unfair, the NHS should get together with the drug companies and see if they could come to a compromise.

Drug companies have always been greedy, I know they have to recoup the cost opf the research , but they are multi-million pound industries.
Re NHS, it is difficult to see where there is a fair system of reducing costs, no matter which area they chose , the most vulnerable patients miss out
