The Met Office has said it now looks "increasingly likely" that the UK will not suffer any "serious impacts" from the remnants of a hurricane that has hit the Caribbean in recent days.
Hurricane Bertha is set to peter out as it moves across the Atlantic towards Europe, with experts warning of the possibility of a so-called 'ex-tropical storm' hitting Britain.
But it now looks like whatever stormy weather there is will hit northern France rather than the UK.
