email scam pretending to come from Amazon

Norfolk Trading Standards are warning about a scam email claiming to be from Amazon UK.

The email (pictured) claims that the company undertakes ‘integrity checks’ on user accounts and that the recipient is required to click on a link within the next 24 hours to prevent their account being disabled permanently.

The email is not connected in any way with Amazon UK and customers are not required to validate their account in this way. If you receive this email delete it without clicking on any links.

If you receive a scam email like this you can report it to Action Fraud via their online fraud reporting tool or to Citizens Advice consumer helpline via their online reporting form

The fact it say Dear Customer would make me suspicious.
