hi i am new here and newish to caring and don;t no where to go 4 advise, could any one help me i don;t know what i am entitled to whit benefits or any help really, very worryed.

  wel222 Welcome to Chill and congratulations on your very first post on Chill4us.

As you are new to caring I don’t want to overload you with info to start with but this might be a good place to start if you haven’t already checked the site out .. it gives the basics about what you should be entitled to such as Carers Assessments, Carers Rights, and practical support, carers wellbeing.

If there is anything you specifically want to know about please post/ask –  if you could tell us a bit more about who you look after such as what is up with the person you care for, if they are old or young - only as much as you feel comfy with until you get to know us better, then we can offer specific suggestions for you.

Hi Sally,

I hope you are finding your feet on the site and the web address given you has been of help. If there is any adice or support or a mental hug we are all here for you. We all know how scary caring can be however long you have been doing it. there isn't a thought or subject that haven't all come accross at one time or another. So don't be affraid of posting anything you feel or experience.
