The bananas delivered on Saturday were really green, they don't seem to have ripened at all. I am debating on whether or not to eat them? What do others do?

I personally don't like bananas but the way to ripen them is put them in a brown paper bag or in a dish with other fruit, that will speed up the ripening process.

That's what I would do too, to ripen them, although, I'd rather have them slightly green, I won't eat them once the skins start to get black specks.

Well I had a mostly green banana last night and have lived to tell the tale. It was firm and rather tasty. George knows what he is doing!

I love bananas when the skin is getting thinner with brown spots - they are so sweet. I have a banana every morning at breakfast xmas4 xmas4

I like speckled bananas too, they are the best. I also love a banana and cheese sandwich, havn't had won for ages. When the bananas go brownish, I make banana cake for the grandchildren, they always wolf it down. x Jeanne
