Carers Chorus

Postby annie » 28 Mar 2014, 15:58

We had a great afternoon, we met up with three other groups, including Secret Singers our choirmaster , Olwyn  there were over 40 of us in total & we sang for 2 hours & Olwyn was interviewed by Helen from Radio Lancs & we went down into the market square & also sang down there for 1/2 an hour. We are live on John GIlmore's programme around 1/4  to 3 and then we are on the teatime programme later on.

I can't tell you the difference it has made to me. Often when I set off to choir, I am tired and down & really would rather stay at home, but once I have sung for a couple of hours, I am like a different person, I feel light -hearted & all my cares seem to float off. It
