Universal Jobmatch set to be jettisoned after it was found to be carrying a series of fake, repeat or fraudulent jobs ads

Takes me ages to go though the "new jobs" posted for just one day - so many of the adverts lead to websites where there are no contact details for whoever runs the site - I tried keeping a list of those to save me time as it was better to check through them by who had posted rather than the job title.

No way am I sending details to someone who I have no idea of who they are. It is better to pop up the jobcentre n check on their own terminals.

You would think it being an official site it would be better monitored and run

Before they changed it to this Universal Jobmatch thingy it worked perfectly well and was a lot more user friendly, especially people who were not confident using PC's, you could search by jobtype, by skills etc.

What I really resented when I was signing  on, and refused point blank to do was allow my adviser to see what jobs I was looking for - talk about Big Brother!!!
