Children In Need

We decided at work a couple of days ago to try and raise some money and decided on a cake stall at Wensum Lodge.
People made and donated cakes and we set up a stall in the reception area - lemon drizzle, sponge cake, viennese whirls, mini flapjacks & brownies, cherry madeira, pain au chocolat, etc etc. We worked out a rota to cover the stall from mid-am to mid afternoon .. As of when I left we had raised nearly £70. We still had some more to come as what was left of the cake was taken to a meeting late pm.
We got asked for cake we had't got - gluten-free - though we had got some nut-free cakes -we have already made out a to-do-list for next year !
