A mother has spoken of her shock after finding a spider as big as a mouse with 'big teeth' while unpacking boxes in her new home.

Carley Tapsell, who moved into a new house in Dymchurch, Kent, last week managed to trap the giant house spider in a plastic box.

She said she was 'terrified' when the spider, which measures around 4in in length, jumped out of nowhere and scuttled across the floor.
