We have a lot of Philipino men here working as fishermen - they have permission to come here and they are lovely cheerful hard working guys - they send money home and when their contract is over they return to their homes and hope they get another contract to come here again to work later. They miss their families but separation is the price they pay in order to afford to provide homes for their families to grow up in. The skippers they work for say they are mostly reliable and extremely hard working but at this time those men are frantically trying to find out what has happened at home in the hope that their loved ones have survived.Statistics: Posted by daisy — 09 Nov 2013, 15:53
