Carers Gloucestershire launches Walk a Mile in My Shoes to show support for unpaid carers

Footwear will be swapped between friends, family and strangers next month for the biggest carers awareness event in the south west.

Carers Gloucestershire has launched its flagship fundraising event ‘Walk a Mile in My Shoes’, in conjunction with the Gloucestershire Echo and Gloucester Citizen.

At last year’s Walk a Mile event people from across the county stepped out in Cheltenham, wearing someone else’s shoes to show their support for local unpaid carers.
