GENEROUS organisers of a scarecrow weekend have handed over a large cheque to the Lynn News Young Carers’ Appeal.

Wolferton Scarecrow Festival has donated £2,000 from the successful August fundraiser.

FOUR charities were celebrating yesterday after pocketing nearly £200,000 in Health Lottery cash.

 

The payouts will help dementia sufferers, young carers and healthy living campaigns in Kent and Medway.
