The new Care Act will affect Carers In Milton Keynes

From 1st April 2015, the Care Act comes into force and will represent the biggest change to social care in the UK for more than 60 years.
The changes will mean new rights and entitlements to unpaid carers living in Milton Keynes providing care or support to an adult family member, friend or neighbour.

Carers could soon be using smartphones and email to help balance work, education and leisure with their caring responsibilities.
North Tyneside is one of nine areas in the country awarded £147,800 government funding for a two-year project to test out new ways of reaching people struggling to juggle work requirements and caring needs.
