KIND-HEARTED supermarket customers have chosen a town charity to benefit from their support.
Hartlepool Carers will be the official charity of Sainsbury’s, in Middle Warren, for the next 12 months.
Staff at the store, in Mulberry Rise, asked their customers and colleagues to nominate their chosen charity for the supermarket to support.

IF RESIDENTS went down to the woods this week they might have found pupils from a Runcorn school having fun for charity.
Saint Mary’s Primary School pupils in Halton Village held a teddy bears’ picnic, raising £250 for the National Deaf Children’s Society.
The Year 1 students chose the cause because one its class members has hearing difficulties.
