A man who thought his wife no longer loved him has revealed his heartbreak after she was diagnosed with dementia aged just 42.

Linzi Thomas, 44, from Merseyside, who was a successful accountant and businesswoman, was a loving and affectionate mother and doting wife.

However, Mike started to notice Linzi behaving strangely – she would refuse to wash or change her clothes and showed no interest in her family.
