Free courses for unpaid carers

CARERS can learn how to design cards on a computer at free courses which are being held in June.
A two-week course will take place on Thursday, June 14, and Thursday, June 21, at the old TA building, Elizabeth Street, Corby.
It is being offered through the Rushden-based Nene Valley Community Action Needs and Aspirations Project, which is a directory of free activities and opportunities available to unpaid carers, including those receiving attendance allowance. Funding for the scheme also comes from Northamptonshire County Council.
A community action spokesman said: “As well as the above option, the brochure is full of exciting opportunities available around the county.”
