Free alternative therapies for carers in Norwich

Would you like to get involved? If you are a Norwich resident, we have a meeting with Norman Lamb MP on 18th May 2019 from 11am to 1pm on integration of complementary therapies (massage, reflexology etc) into the NHS. The press will be there – other speakers include a GP, therapists who have worked within NHS and Wendy Maxwell has just agreed to speak too. Thank you Wendy šŸ™

Let’s see what we can do!

We are also launching TherapyAid which is the collaboration of complementary therapists offering reflexology, aromatherapy and massage treatments to carers who find their caring capacity is almost exhausted when it comes to selfcare.

We need to prove there is a need. I think you could help us with this? I will do another post another day to explain this a little more. But for now, please can local Norwich residents who can possibly get out and attend put 18th May in their diaries.

The meeting is held at my school premises which is just off Woodcock road, near the city, and with a free car park.

Jackie Hamilton School of Therapies
Melbourne House, Arminghall close (off Woodcock). NR3 3UE.

I have run the school since 2005 and have graduates all over the county – we are doing a pilot scheme at the moment to prove the benefits of therapies to unpaid carers. If you would like to be part of it – let me know. āļø

Thank you to Wendy Maxwell for allowing me to join the group and post in it and also for meeting me yesterday to give me such valuable advice and guidance. (and agreeing to speak) It is much appreciated.
